This is the first in a series of commits that aims to update this documentation in an effort to make it more useful to other developers and the Open edX community at large. The introduction provides some background information on the discovery service that was missing before. It also explains key concepts necessary to understand the service. This change also brings these docs into line with those written for other services by switching to using the edX theme. LEARNER-1399

The autocomplete does not allow for the video to be deleted. Since autocomplete is overkill for this field, I have removed it and replaced it with Django's built-in search functionality over raw_id_fields. LEARNER-1603

The catalog index is small in terms of number of documents and data size. There is no reason to prematurely shard the index. In addition, sharding seems to be affecting our ability to properly score search results with such a small data set causing inconsistent results when performing queries which match many documents in the index. ENT-444

Reward course runs with enrollable, paid seats. Penalize those without them. Slightly increase boost given to MicroMasters and Professional Certificate programs. Tweak self-paced and enrollable boosts to match. Taken together, this modified boost configuration yields search results which tend to promote course runs with enrollable, paid seats above those without them. LEARNER-1374
